C++ is a programming language known for being among the more difficult ones to learn but also of the most efficient. It has evolved from the C language by adding object orientation (OOP).
C++ is, strictly speaking, not a superset of C
because it is possible to construct a valid C program that is not a C++
program (for example by naming a varibale class which is a
reserved identifier in C++ but not in C). Nevertheless in practice most
C programs can be compiled as C++.
