# MDK: Test Page

Starting with normal, relatively non-tricky formatting.

Paragraph 1, something something, bold text, now italic, bold AND italic, now some code and strike through. Footnote¹. Footnote2[^Another something.] Escaped italic: *normal text*, and backtick (`). Links: existing, dead, external, nonsense and empty. Can we simply use [square brackets]? There are many spaces between these words here. Upper index (a to b): a^b. Or maybe rather a^(b) (brackets around b). What about math like (x + y)^3 / 7.5 e^i = -7*? Can we have bold with * (asterisk) inside? Looks good? :)

Maybe also try bold link, half italic link and code as link. Series of minus characters: - (1), – (2), - (3), -- (4). Three dots: ... Now is this_sub or this_maybe? 4 backslashes: \\. Arrow: –>
