# Soft Gingerbread

# Ingredients

• 1/2 cup butter
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup hot water
• 1 teaspoon cloves
• 1 teaspoon soda
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 teacup molasses
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1 teaspoon ginger
• 2 1/2 cups flour

# Directions

Dissolve soda in couple teaspoonfuls hot water.
